Daniella Eisman grew up in Cape Town, South Africa & used story-telling as a means of expression during a politically rife climate. She was a record-breaking swimmer & competitive dancer & she started her US career as an actor & performer. She joined SAG in 1999 but realized her passion lay in story-telling behind the camera.
During the pandemic, Daniella directed her 2nd episode of "Saved By the Bell", "Shameless", 3 episodes of "First Wives Club" in Atlanta & the final season of "Brooklyn 99". She's also directed multiple episodes of “The Mindy Project” ,“Superstore", “Loosely Exactly Nicole" & ABC's"Splitting Up Together."
Daniella has extensive on-set experience as a 1st Assistant Director- leading cast & crew with her commanding presence & focused approach. She’s AD’ed on "Grey's Anatomy" (where the team was nominated for a DGA award), "American Horror Story", "Medium", "Mistresses", "Gilmore Girls", "Getting On", "HawthoRNe" and "CSI" to name a few.
Daniella’s used these years of working hand in hand with top notch directors to transform her skills & shape who she is as a director today. These invaluable experiences have helped find her own original directing voice allowing her to thoughtfully craft & mold her episodes.
